Hi there,

We're a young food business on Clare Island County Mayo. Located in a reclaimed and lovingly renovated old shipping container. Just like the container's journeys around the world before settling here we have a varied and ever changing interest in baked goods and food from far and near.

Our Philosophy

Our food philosophy here at the Clare Island Oven is to try and make everything possible from scratch. That's why we get up extra early to make sure that our bread is baked and delicious for your breakfast or lunch sandwiches. We take pride in hand making everything we serve.

Who we are

We are Niall (a native islander who also plays music) and Alice (originally from Antibes in France but now living on Clare Island).
